What is UnityZumba?
Let's face it, working out can be lots of things, but it is often less than an exhilarating experience…UNTIL NOW! Latin and international rhythms are fused to create an explosive, booty shakin’ party of a workout that will target all those problem areas, burn 400 to 1,000 calories a class and leave you on a high! I am a professional fitness coach to people of all ages, shapes, sizes and backgrounds.

The Zumba program is made up of easy-to-follow moves to create a one-of-a-kind fitness program that ANYONE and EVERYONE can get involved with. Our goal is simple: We want you to get fit and have fun at the same time as dancing away your worries while burning calories!!! But UnityZumba is more than that. It is also about creating a place where for one hour you can go to dance, sweat, have fun and be silly. It is about forming a common bond where we do not compete and we do not judge. For that one hour, we are all equal, we are all strong and we are all united. Come try it, I guarantee you will have the best time! Leave your inhibitions at the door! The more you let go the more fun you will have. A free spirit will allow you to feel the music and burn more calories!
Don’t dance like your instructor or the other participants around you - feel the music and dance like you!
If you cannot get the steps it really does not matter - just keep moving and keep smiling.
Zumba is a “feel-happy” workout that is great for both the body and the mind.
Zumba is a fusion of Latin and International music-dance themes that create a dynamic, exciting, effective fitness system!
The routines feature aerobic/fitness interval training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body.
Zumba utilises the principle of fitness interval training and resistance training to maximise caloric output, fat burning and total body toning.

Who can do Zumba?
One of the great things about Zumba is that there is no right or wrong way and you do not have to know how to dance. Anyone can do it whether you are young, old, or in-between. Everybody has their own style and works at their own fitness level. It does not matter if you get all the steps right, they will come. What is important is having fun while getting fit in a welcoming, encouraging, high energy environment.
What should I wear?
You can wear any type of fitness clothes, think comfortable and cool. As for shoes, wear cross-trainers. Also remember the importance of attending every session with plenty of bottled water.
How much are your classes?
Classes are £5 per session

I am a Professional Fitness Trainer of 16years to people of all ages, sizes and backgrounds. What I love about Zumba is that it fuses Latin and international rhythms to create an explosive, booty shakin’ party of a workout, that will target all those problem areas, burning 400 to 1,000 calories a class and leaving you on a high! For me, healthy living is all about working your mind, body and heart, which I balance through the different classes I teach. Whether it is because of the uplifting endorphin rush after Zumba, or the calm, centred feeling after Pilates, you will leave my classes feeling positive and inspired!
Having a background in fitness and dance coupled with the knowledge and experience I have gained working alongside other highly motivated individuals within Unity Fitness & Dance UK has given me the tools to really make a difference to the lives of many of my clients! For me, there is no feeling greater than being able to focus and channel positive energy into my classes and hence into the heart and soul of the participants. I bring a wide range of influences into the classes from Latin to Soca to Hip Hop, all delivered with a contagious passion.
